Elaine Houle wins 2019 Arlequin for Best Actress

Once again Théâtre St-Bruno Players was recognized for excellence at the Gala des Arlequins held at Carleton-sur-mer on June 15 and 16th as St-Bruno resident Elaine Houle won the award for Best Actress for her role as Cindy Savage in Self Help by Norm Foster.

The troupe was also nominated in two other categories: Derek Quinn for his depiction of Jack in Michael Grady’s work Dancers and Self Help for Best Comedy.

Since its’ inception in 2008 Théâtre St-Bruno Players has been nominated 44 times and has won 9 different awards. This year the Fédération québécoise de théâtre amateur’s jury viewed 59 submissions before making its’ selections.
