Lefty and DeRecha are in an empty warehouse, and what was supposed to be the simple task of unpacking and listing the contents of a few crates turns into a weird and wacky expedition into the unknown.

Virtual Reality was presented as part of a double bill of one act plays which included The Way of all Fish by Elaine May.

Virtual Reality won the Best Production award and Dave Maynard won for Best Actor at 2022 the Gala des Arlequins sponsored by the FQTA (Fédération quebecoise du Théâtre Amateur). Also nominated were Andrew Prior for Best Actor and Lise Lavalee and Emily Fleming for Best Directors.
